Yellow Qui I have
seen a lot of formulas with all the vitamins and iron and isolated stuff
you could imagine! However this strong Tincture of Yellowdock Root
and Dang Gui has brought more deficient iron levels up to normal then anything I
have ever seen. Let's take a look at
these two herbs:
Yellowdock: Yes, there is a
healthy amount of iron in Yellowdock root, but the iron content is not what does it! I have always
noticed that when we use whole plants (nothing isolated) as medicine, we
take on the plants abilities in some way. The reason Yellowdock has so
much iron in it is because of its ability to attract it from the earth and
assimilate it so well. So it is not so much the iron in the plant but why
the plant has so much! We still need to feed the body iron rich foods but
we can now assimilate it into our blood much, better thanks to
Yellowdock And with the addition of Dang
Gui this action is extremely
amplified.
Dang Gui: As a blood tonic, Dang Gui is incomparable. Few herbs
are as safe or as potent as blood tonics. It is commonly used by millions
of people in China to treat common anemia. It can be used after an
illness, injury or surgery to rebuild red blood cells and to increase
blood volume. It is very commonly used by women to build blood due to
cycles. However men as well as women benefit from strong blood.
As for the Thyroid
function........
Usually when women
(sometimes men) have an under-active thyroid it is not due to the thyroid
itself but due to the liver not being able to process hormones and other
chemicals correctly for the thyroid gland..... so yes, the thyroid is
under-active...... Kind of like an engine running out of fuel or trying to
run on bad fuel.
But trying to "zip it up"
with Synthyroid or something like that is going to make you
dependent on the stuff and soon your thyroid will
be under-active on its own!
Yellow-Qui helps the blood and liver do this most important
function. It is estimated that the liver has over 600 functions in
processing chemicals for our various glandular systems
and Yellow-Qui can be a very big help in
most all of them!
This therapy with
Yellow-Qui when combined with the Chinese
herbal formula, Golden Book Tea Pills (or Jin
Gui Shen Qi) has been successful in helping people
get back on track with hypo thyroid conditions and even getting a few
people off of Synthyroid permanently.
