Coptis
root (Huang Lian)
is often called "Chinese Penicillin" and for many very good reasons! I have recommended this for many
patients in the rare instance when Viral Defense did not cure an infection completely. This is often
due to an amoebic condition that is accompanying the
infection.
It also has a powerful
affinity for the lungs, stomach and spleen and can help other herbal
medicines work much more efficiently in these
arias.
Coptis also very effective for
skin presenting with boils, carbuncles, suppurative sores or
localized infections.
Coptis combines well
with Viral Defense , Central Qi , Long Dan Xia Gan Wanand many other heat clearing and digestive
formulas.
Having copris in your medicine chest can be a
real life saver! This is very effective
for Giardia in animals and humans!
